About Us
Helen Sanders is Director of Asymmetric Solutions Limited, which provides consultancy, training and editorial services in treasury and occupational pensions. She specialises in providing editorial services to selected banks and finance publications.
Recent projects have included various treasury technology assignments, policy and process reviews, management reporting reviews, trustee training and update of pension scheme documentation, cashflow forecasting, working capital optimisation, implementing a socially responsible investment strategy and editorial, advisory services and training to banks and suppliers.
Helen is Editor of the TMI group of publications and writes monthly Special Features on various aspects of finance and treasury. She is also a regular contributor to Engaged Investor, The Funds Business and Automated Trader, and is author of specific publications on investment strategies for local government pension schemes, pension scheme governance and a range of publications on treasury technology.
Helen was formerly Director of Education for the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) where she oversaw the launch of a new Associate membership qualification and new Certificates in Financial Risk Mathematics and Pensions Risk Management.
She worked as Director of SunGard Treasury Systems and its predecessor company, GIS, for six years. During this time, she held various positions including managing the European sales operation and major customer relationships, in addition to training and consultancy work. Prior to joining SunGard, Helen worked in treasury and tax in the energy and IT sectors.
Helen holds postgraduate qualifications from the University of London and the Open University.
